St. Aidan Contemplates the Death of An Old God is a depiction of the Celtic saint, Aidan from the seventh century. The piece shows him in a stoic, peaceful stance, towering over the long decayed remains of an old god of war. This peace is an exploration on pacifism in an age of polarized violence and competition for power.
