This painting shows another scene from a flight over the Texas Panhandle, flying back into Dallas. The quilted farmland stretched out in all directions of the horizon, while these clouds moved independently across the sky, with no clear belonging or direction.
I see myself as an Aerial Landscape Painter, capturing the beauty of landscapes from a fresh, modern perspective. As flight becomes an increasingly common way to travel, a thrilling new way to observe and experience the land, earth, and horizon is opening up, adding an exciting dimension to landscape art.
