The Space explores the quiet presence that exists between two horses. Years of observing herd life have shown me that relationship is often revealed through stillness rather than action. Using restrained composition, light and negative space, I seek to evoke the unseen exchange of awareness and trust. The painting invites viewers to pause and consider that what is most significant is not always what is visible.
