Two paintings from my series on morbid building façades. Created in 2024 and 2025. The focus is on the delicate structures, painted in overlapping layers of colour. During my stays in Italy, I developed a fondness for these subjects. Even here in Germany, there are still corners that exude this atmosphere.The paintings measures 50x40cm and is created with acrylic paints on canvas. Apart from the aura of a bygone era that this patina radiates, it is the appeal of the artistic challenge to capture this in such high quality.
